Facilities and Activities The extensive grounds and heated indoor swimming pool, with W/C, changing rooms & shower, with a depth of 3' to 5' 10", offers a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. Manor Mill also provides a purpose built barbeque area, available for guests. What better way to spend a relaxing afternoon eating and drinking whilst listening to the rippling sounds of the River Tone. A children's play area is a safe haven for fun, complete with swings, slides, a mini fortress and large trampoline.

Additional facilities include a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, deep freeze and payphone. A selection of videos, board games, books and magazines are also available to borrow. The little hamlet of Waterrow boasts its own Inn within walking distance.

		Manor Mill is an excellent base for touring the West Country, with easy access to the outstanding natural beauty of Exmoor, Quantock Hills, Mendip Hills, Somerset levels as well as the coast of North and South Devon and North Somerset, which are ideal for the cyclist, nature watcher, walkers and horse riders.

		The Exmoor National Park is home to the unique Exmoor Pony and the Wild Red Deer. Exmoor safaris provide an excellent way of catching a glimpse of them. The Somerset levels in contrast with its flat wetlands are famous for its diverse wildlife and where willow is still cut today for a variety of uses.

		Some of the best fishing in Somerset is available locally, and on our own stretch of the River Tone, where brown and rainbow trout may be caught. Located nearby is Wimbleball Lake where fishing can be arranged. There are a variety of golf courses within easy reach.

		There are many National Trust and English Heritage properties in the area as well as attractions such as Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury and Wells Cathedral. There is also an abundance of charming villages and Market Towns such as Taunton and Wellington nearby where you sample a vast array of local food and drinks such as Cheeses and Cider.
